7/30/26: Cobb Accessport with custom tune from Cam Tuning:

Just wrapped up the custom revision process with CAMTuning and wanted to put a proper review out there because this experience deserves it.

Started on the Stage 1 93 map and the truck immediately woke up. Anyone who has driven one of these stock knows the factory calibration leaves a lot on the table. With the tune it feels way faster, and more importantly the power delivery is smooth across the whole powerband. No surging, no flat spots, just linear pull that keeps building instead of falling on its face up top.

Here is the part that sold me on this company. I sent in my first datalog and CAM came back and told me something was off with my truck, not the tune. Throttle inlet pressure actual was running below target under load and my long term fuel trims were climbing positive at the same time. That combination means unmetered air loss, in other words a charge air leak downstream of the turbo. The leak only showed under boost because under vacuum it pulls itself shut, which is exactly why my idle trims looked normal.

A lot of tuners would have never caught that, or worse, would have just added fuel and wastegate duty to tune around it and shipped it. CAM flagged it and told me to go through the charge pipe system before any revisions. Sure enough I found a loose clamp on the charge pipe. Tightened it, logged again, and the data confirmed it. LTFT went from about +5% under load to basically zero and I picked up roughly 5 psi of peak boost that was leaking out before. He was tuning with clean data instead of masking a mechanical problem.

Sent the new log and the custom revision came back quick. R2 is even better. Stronger everywhere, smoother tip-in, and it puts the power down in the midrange right where you actually drive a 5700 lb truck.

The data-driven approach is the real deal here. He reviews your logs, catches things you would miss, and calibrates for your actual truck instead of flashing a generic file and calling it a day. Communication was fast the whole way through.

If you are on the fence about tuning your cruiser, this is the way to do it. Happy to answer questions! 10/10 tuner to work with.

Nice work man. Came here to look at the Victory rear shelf and got so much more out of your post. There is some stuff on here that I can do but definitely some that I can't do, especially the tuning, which I want to do but am concerned about warranty. The air filter looks pretty straightforward, as do the charge pipes. I'm torn on putting the window molle panels on along with the shelf. Any rattling, especially with the fire extinguisher (though I'm really also looking at options to install in front/under the front seat for ease of access? Rattles drive me mad and I'd put 'em up for sale immediately.
