Considering a Land Cruiser...confused on trims/models

You mentioned doing a slight lift and wanting to go with bumper upgrades at some point. An option to consider is the sway bar disconnect if you plan to off road it and looking at the upper trim levels.

It was an option for the 2024-2025 Land Cruiser trims EXCEPT the 1958, which it could not be optioned on. It becomes standard on the 2026 and up but again NOT on the 1958 trim. So something to look for when shopping if thatโ€™s an option you want if buying a used one.

If youโ€™ll allow me to be pointlessly pedantic for a moment:

It was standard for non-1958s for 2024 and the first part of 2025, then went optional for second part of 2025, and then back to standard for 2026.

I forgot to tell you, I tried so hard to get a pic of this 70-series tow truck for you. I was walking with my fam to a museum and saw it and ran a half block after it trying to get my camera open on my phone like an old man. When my family questioned why I was chasing a tow truck down the road I mumbled something about getting Land Cruiser pics for DubDub (they are used to my general incoherence and behavioral oddities).

So hereโ€™s the pic with the same photographic quality as your average Sasquatch photo evidence:

The thought counts buddy, thanks!

A moment? Thatโ€™s an ambitious estimate. Iโ€™d object, but I know youโ€™d correct my objection. :ROFLMAO:

I appreciate all the clarification. In my shopping and resrach I've been using the Toyota website, which leads me to local dealerhip inventories. As it turns out, most of what is on the local dealership websites, as far as inventory is concerned, is not reflective of whats actually in dealer stock.

I'm not interested in any useless dealer add-ons. Once I settle on the Land Cruiser I want, I immediately will replace the wheels with some bronze methods or gold SCSs, a steel front bumper, and a small (~2") lift. Im sure there are plenty of threads here discussing wheels, bumpers and lifts - which I'll get into at some point soon.
I went down this rabbit hole a few months ago and settled on a 2027 LC trim with Premium package. Like you, I was set on what I wanted (and didn't want) as add ons. An internet sales manager at a local dealership was able to catch a vehicle that was slated for a dealership in Utah but hadn't hit the states yet. She was able to get some port options changed. The stuff that was factory installed (FIO on the spec sheet) had to stay. If you don't find what you like on the lot, you may want to ask for a sales manager to make a similar search. Good luck with your shopping and purchase.
