Clunking at full lock and perceived loss of turning radius post lift

Those are the specs for the 200.
Nominal caster for the 250 LC LC Premium is 4.22 degrees, so you're good. I don't know what model 250 you have, but they don't vary much.

I just put on OME UCAs and they added a bunch of caster. At first I had almost 6 degrees and I felt a loss of steering range and it felt weird when it hit the stops. I aligned it and got back to right at 4.2 degress on both sides and it feels good now and the steering isn't so heavy anymore.

I still think the lift would make the steering stops hit higher in the Vs of the knuckle, but I can't explain why @Bad1975 seem to be centered.
This isn't the case for @solagbmw, but maybe if you have too much or too little caster, the steering axis may be tipped far enough forward or back that only the front or rear stop would hit the V early and that wouldn't feel like a solid stop and would reduce range.
I'm not sure. I'll have to look at mine again, but I know they're hitting high in the Vs even though they feel good now.
Seeing stock stops would be nice to add to the info here.

Thank so much for this! I have the LC LC trim w/premium package (rectangle headlights).

I've got the MT-64 kit with OME UCA's and noticed after install right out of the driveway a massive loss in turning radius. I had a dealership in Everett, WA do the alignment and the tech spent 4 hours getting it perfect. It kept coming back in green on the alignment sheet, but he could tell it could be better and kept going and the steering doesn't seem impact nearly at all now.

However though the suspension sounds like it's going to fall of the truck on rougher FS roads etc. Can't figure that out and the dealer spent a few hours checking the suspension and everything is tight. The rear coils though, hmmmm There are 4 coils literally sitting on each other compressed while sitting on flat ground.

In a serious accident if the insurance (either yours or theirs) company finds out there were mods that affected the steering adversely in any way, good luck in court, your gonna need it and more to come out on that one.
Allot of people doing mods that will sink them on any public road accidents if it goes really bad.
Sad but true.

I would say it can sync them, but there need to be fax. And I would doubt that there’s really very much evidence out there at all that shows that suspension modifications cause or contribute to in a gross way the accident.

I've been driving a lot of FS roads (MT-64 with OME UCA's and rear coils as well) with no issues with ARB rear coil springs. Can you share your final alilgnment?

For rear coils - did you get the heavy kit or normal? I have normal even with a tray system and roof tent.

I have 18" rims with factory size KO3 tires. I'm trying to work out from the chart above that @Mtn40 posted (I don't know what the specification letters "ABCDIR" are for) as I have alignment for GNZUZA model not GNZAZA as shown for Premium. The suspension everything feels really great - it's just the turning radius reduction that I'd like to restore. Thanks.

Same boat. I agree that I’m happy with the ride of my OME BP-51 set up, just want to get full turning radius back, if possible.

Here's the alignment procedure. You have to go through the Alignment Table Specification Code List at the beginning for what your truck has and see which alignment specs you should use.

So what I posted before as being for LC LC Premium isn't exactly true either.

I believe I have found the source of an annoying clunk metal on metal sound that I've been hearing at slow speeds when I'm full lock in a parking lot for example

I have also felt like I have lost some turning radius after installing the bp51 lift

The steering stops in this picture do not line up with the concave portion due to the increased angle on the lower control arm and I think this is where it was making contact causing the sound I heard and also slightly reducing my turning radius

I'd be curious to see a picture of someone's 's in stock lift height for comparison

In the meantime, I put some grease on the spindle side to see if that prevents the noise I've been hearing

In know it’s been a while since the post. But I just intalled a 2” Eibach lift and O hearing the Clunk when turning and going over bumps from the front suspension. Retorqued and had it aligned, but still clunk.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

all i did was but some grease on the steering stops on both the knuckles and the LCA. haven't heard the clunk, still does feel turning radius is impacted by the lift on mine

This is exactly what I needed, thanks!
My local shop did not have the LC 250 alignment specs so they used a 2024 4runner for the settings. Castor was set a 3.5 degrees. I'm bringing it back in Thursday to get corrected, curious to see if I will notice a difference in the steering.
