I picked up the GBX 45 for about $100 back in July. In testing by Project Farm, the NOCO GBX 155 came out on top. Given the nature of the hybrid system, I don't see the need for the big brother of the GBX 45 to start up our LC250s.I've settled on picking up a NOCO, just waiting around for the possibility they will do some kind of black friday deal.
The GBX55 seems perfect but if the GBX45 can fit in one of the storage cubbies, I may just go with that. My thought is that if I need a jump, I can just top the jumper box off with either the 120V outlet or one of the USB-C ports after I get the LC running.
Considering our vehicles do not have an alternator, I'm not sure about recharging the 12V after a jump. I used to just leave the car running for an hour or take it for a drive.
I thought I read somewhere that the hybrid battery charges the 12V differently and may require a more specific procedure? Couldn't find anything in the manual about it.
