Anyone have experience with Bison Gear?

Does anyone have experience with Bison Gear? I am considering their roof shelf (Roof Shelf - GX550 / LC250), which is much cheaper than CA Tuned version. However I've not seen much online about Bison Gear. Any thoughts or real-world experience with them would be appreciated.

I placed an order with them for a MOLE shelf on December 27. Once I place the order it showed on back order. Yesterday I received a FedEx notice that it has been shipped. Considering they are in Poland, I expect a week or 3 for delivery.

That's all I got.

Got my Roof Shelf this morning (Was on back order in December when I ordered). Installed today. Very pleased with it. nicely made, powder coat steel. sturdy, fits together

well. 45 minutes to assemble an another 45 to install (in 18f degree weather).

Can you see much of the shelf in the rear view mirror / do you lose any sight out of the rear window?

It does not block your rear-view mirror field nor rear window - which was a very real concern. I am quite pleased with it.

I have a few blankets that I carry with me and use those for buffer to keep things in place.

This is what I have right now. I mounted some metal and plastic stuff there and the rattling was also annoying me, so I got some molle pouches. No more sounds.

How much room does the 2nd row occupant have between the bar and the head rest? I see some of you guys have the seat back but is it all the way back in these images? Just want to make sure my family/friends don’t hit their heads. Thanks!!
