Any tips for removing wheel caps?

It turned out to be harder than I thought. All my plastic trim removal tool tips began to break, and anything metal scratched the wheel.

Take the wheels off. Push from inside out.

Small pocket screwdriver with a little tape wrapped around it so not to scratch wheel .

Removing the wheel is the safest way. I was very careful on the 1st one and ended up nicking it........ wheels came off for the other 3................

Now if you're tossing the old caps....... drywall screw drilled into the center makes easy removal, but ruins the cap.

This. And use two screwdrivers. One will get a small lift started, then insert the second one to pop it off.

This - even with a micro screwdriver I still couldn't get enough purchase on the edge to pop them out. I ended up waiting until I switched out my winter tires/wheels and just knocked them out from the back. Much easier.

Use any small suction cup even the one that hold window shades or phone mount to window… or this
