Advice on buying specific cruiser

I would not start with accessories and just realize there will be some extra parts on every Toyota. Depending on how rare of a build you are want and how far you will drive you can start to add additional accessories.

I did what ferrari did (used 500 mile radius). I found one that was close enough to what I wanted up in Ohio (I'm in Atlanta). I asked them for an out the door price and it beat anything close by thousands. I flew up and drove it home.

They even picked me up at the airport an hour away for free and the driver refused when I offered a tip!

Thanks everyone for the advice. I secured what I was looking for and it will be here in 3 weeks. Essentially I put down a deposit at my local dealership, but kept looking at places within 500 miles. When I found something at a place within that range that could be secured in 4 weeks, I called the local dealership to ‘ask’ if I could transfer my deposit to another dealership since I had found what I wanted (knowing this wasn’t possible) which kicked them into action as they were worried about losing a sale. Within 4 hours they had ‘magically’ found what I wanted after trading with another dealership (not the one where I had found a match). So, I guess a little extra pressure after not hearing anything from them for a bit got things done!

I agree, and its how I ended up with close to what I wanted.

I found a few cars online of the right combo but when I called the dealerships they were either already gone or were incoming inventory that was already spoken for. I am willing to pay for shipping which is why i was just searching on my own, but maybe thinking I just go through my local dealership to help?
