Accident at 6 Weeks

Good information. In all reality though, I've lived in a heavy deer area for the last 25+ years and this is only the second time I've ever hit one.

It really just sucks that the second time it's ever happened was 6 weeks after purchasing my first ever brand new car. Insurance will get it fixed, and it is still drivable in the meantime.

Sorry this happened and only 6 weeks in is rough. But you've hit a deer twice! Man to me that is statistically crazy. You might actually want to look into that ARB Summit MKII bumper or something similar.

Just hit a deer the same exact way tonight (11/27/25). Did you already get an estimate?

I did. I expected more, but the estimate came out to $3700. I suppose it doesn't really matter since I'm just paying the insurance deductible, but I expected it to be in the $5-10k range. Either way, I'm taking it in for repairs on 12/16 and they expect to have it for a week. Sorry about your LC. Hopefully you get a quick estimate and repair as well
