Did you ever get an answer on potential negative effects on radiator cooling? Did you install just a single bar?

If I were to go to the trouble of pulling off the front bumper I'd like to install 2 lightbars - but the 2 lightbar setup looks like it would block airflow. Also a bit hesitatnt on messing with that bumper with all those anchors. I seem to break/ruin some of those plastic anchors no matter where I'm pulling trim! The M&R instal videos are well done and helpful (though they dont show the usually frustrating reassembly of the bumper lol).

Lastly, are you happy with light output?

Have your 30” LC light bar kit on order. I’m trying to get my head wrapped around what the best level to mount the M&R thin light bar for cooling.
Please explain the statement that “does not affect the cooling of the radiator,” & how that was decided/measured? After watching the vids appears your brackets allow you to choose where a single led bar to be mounted in one of the 3 different grill rows in the lower grill opening. You even offer that someone can choose to mount two light bars - that I would think would block 2 of the 3 rows of the lower grill. Did Toyota test the grill cooling with these lights, or who? I’m in Texas & occasionally tow a 4500# Centurion wake boat, so cooling is a concern as you can tell.

Awesome question. We ran these slim lightbars on a lot of vehicles in desert conditions without any overheating. The lightbars are only around 1" in height and dont take up a lot of real eastate. There is plenty of air that passes through the opening, not effecting overheating
