Do they really reduce wind noise? Seems like a difficult thing to compare.

It's either quieter or it isn't, I'll be able to tell as soon as it's up to highway speeds

For anyone wondering if those windshield weather strips work. I did a before & after sound test holding the mic up close to the glass, and got a 1.2 reduction in dB levels. Not much, but they do in fact cut down some wind noise.

We had heavy rain for 2 weeks and I did not notice any water come off to the sides after installing them.

I really couldn't tell if they reduced the wind noise but I have driven in some pretty hard rain without noticing any unusual water deflection issues. On the plus side, they do help the appearance of that gap.
