Windows vent and sleeping platform

I’m curious once you do if you end up needing to affix magnets the perimeter for the snap shade to secure with or if there’s no need.
No need….the magnets are stitched into the Snap Shade itself and “snap” into place along the rear passenger window frames. There are some minor gaps that a really enterprising mosquito could probably get through, but look like they’re going to work great for my needs.

my setup would be
Def Snap shade over moonroof. Rear window set seems would/could be great, not sure where the small gaps are, possibly an easy fix.. pretty pricey tho.. for me.. I’d rig screen fabric,

Back glass up, I rig a breathable tapestry, maybe draped over, tucking bottom in at bumper..maybe?

There’re small Evap cooling fans, little power draw, run it off port batt bank.. or just small fan.

I’d def have a plug in cooler/freezer unit, with solar charger, bring it down daytime, off in eve to reduce heat, humidity, toss a freeze pack in fridge side every eve if needed.

Engine on standby, running AC, misc, etc, at idle even for 30 min on a daily, is not a good idea. Extensive idle, maybe numerous open loop (cold starts)if AC does kickoff 45 min or so,.. how does run time factor w/routine maintenance? And other parts, plastics; hoses, etc. wear cycles(not sure if correct term).

I made my own screens attached with magnetic strips to the 3 metal sides of each back window. The bottom is about 1/2 “ longer and tucks into the channel. Totally mosquito-proof. The magnetic strips have adhesive on one side which is the side the screen is attached. In addition I spread a thin coat of clear latex caulk on top of the screen to aid adherence. I bought the magnetic strips from a specialty supplier of magnets as the craft store 3M style strips were not strong enough. Don’t remember the name of the supplier as I bought it back in 2003 for the same purpose for my 4Runner. I also got rain deflectors for the rear windows so I can ventilate on rainy nights. For the sleeping platform, I used 3/4” plywood set on two 2”x6” lumber and glued some thin auto carpeting to the top. I also cut some airflow openings in the sides to allow the hybrid battery exhaust vent to vent freely.
