Wind Sound from Roof Cross Bars

Just installed the OEM Roof Cross Bars on my new 27 LC 250. They look great but I notice considerable wind noise now, much more than before and especially around 50 MPH. Anything I can do to deaden this easily or is it just something to live with?

I’m afraid that you are stuck with the noise, as long as the cross bars are present. But I hope I am wrong. I actually removed the First Edition roof rack noise generator/air brake from Miss Daisy and she is now a lot quieter on highway trips.

thats the reason you have 14 speaker JBL sound system .
Truth be told I acutally dont hear any extra noise once i installed them. Maybe because I dont do much highway driving or maybe I just have bad hearing.

I took mine off. I put stuff on my roof about once a year, if that, so I keep it off until I need it. Bars locate and attach easily enough.

Best take - Take em back off & use them when you need them.

There is some hope, but too little data currently, that Victory 4x4 is releasing a $530 solution if you need quieter rails on all the time.
