I don't know those guys personally, but I do know of them. Our hobby is a somewhat small subset of folks who's inner circles tend to have some overlap, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if we had some mutual acquaintances.

I'm a pioneer in the legacy filmmaking industry. That's been a long journey so it's a big part of my identity. And I got my Land Cruiser so I'd never have a problem getting where I need to go to film people's stories and shoot B-Roll wherever the story commands. With these powers combined I should be achieving all kinds of badassery.

That’s a nice tooth! Measure from the biting tip to the very top of the root on each side, and whichever measurement is longer (because each side will be different 99% of the time) is the measurement that you would go with. For instance, if one side was 3 3/4” and the other side is 4”, you would say it’s a 4 inch tooth. The shark that lost that tooth you have would’ve been somewhere between roughly 35 and 40 feet at the time it lost it.
One of my classmates in post secondary school would go up the Wando River and Cooper River in Mt. Pleasant, SC and carefully scour the bottom of the muddy shallow areas of the creeks for huge shark teeth, that filled up the palm of my hand.

I made my very first river dive in the Cooper many years ago near Monk’s Corner! I’ve dove it well over a 100 times since then. I still spend a good bit of time diving in SC Rivers every year. I was actually just over there last month.
I really miss Mt. Pleasant and the surrounding areas. My kids and I built and launched a 20’ Simmons Sea Skiff while there. I have lots of good memories of teaching them how to fish, water ski, and basic boater safety.
I did a lot of hiking when I was younger with a bunch of friends in the New Hampshire white mountains. Camping in the fall, cool nights (sometimes even snow) and going out to dinner and of course lots of beverages.
The last three letters happen to be my initials.

Cruiser SS396 for my old 69 SS396 Chevelle and also a 68 SS396 Camaro. Sold both at the hight of the Muscle prices and put kids through college with that money and built my 67 Camaro is inferno Orange from a 2008 Hummer.
67 Camaro before is faded red. It was my daily driver and Input almost 180,000 miles on it.
68 SS396 Camaro is Grotto Blue with a blue interior and fold down rear seat 350 HP car
69 Chevelle is Fathom green parchment interior 325 HP and Muncie MC1 3-speed. It was sold new in November of 1970. It was a base model Malibu with the base Z25 SS396 option. Only options were AM radio, Malibu and Z25.

I hear ya. Why I bought my LC to commute in when I can’t or don’t feel like riding. Ive had multiple broken bones and broken neck so my riding days are coming to an end someday.
Great looking Chevelle. I tried buying one at Mecum in Indy 15 or so yrs ago. Green w/White Stripes, Black Bucket Seats 4 Speed. 70K mile Black Plate California Car. It was Bad Ass. Car went to $50K and guy wouldn't sell it
It's old Danish for "Red town." I spent a few weeks in Rødby last summer and figured it'd be a good username.
haha people mention him to me sometimes. Being a San Antonio guy I've never heard his show but friends in Houston tell me they talk about how Michael Berry had the idea to film a family member's stories and got his friend to do it which kickstarted that guy's business.
I started StoryKeeping on Cinco de Mayo 2009 so I've been after it a pretty long time. I think that guy started about a decade later. Many years I thought I was the only person on the planet doing this kind of work, and I'm grateful for that time because I learned everything 100% the hard way. I know exactly why I do everything the way I do it.
Kind of funny. One of my recent clients had hired that guy for his parents a few years ago. He hired me for his mother-in-law and told me he was blown away by my process and quality. Not to take away from the other dude's work. There are plenty of people with stories on this planet. I want him to produce as many legacy films and experience all the success he can. Too many people try to make this work sustainable and fail.
