My brand-new 2 day-old "1958" came equipped with Yokohama Geolandar X-CV 245/70R18 tires. They are a very non-aggressive street tire that scream out to be replaced by a significantly larger All-Terrain piece of rubber, which I intend on addressing today.
FYI - Over the past years, I've upgraded the tires on at least five different 4x4's at Discount Tire. And each time, Discount credited me $60-$65 per stock tire for trade-in, provided that the traded-in tires are virtually brand new (a day or two old).
That adds up to about $250, nearly the cost of one upgraded tire. However, you have to ask for that tire trade-in credit. It's not automatic.
