I also have a 285/75/r17 tire and wheel (KO3 on a Method 703 +35) in the spare tire location. It's a very tight fit, but it fits. It does hang a bit lower however.Which 285's are you running? Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T. I have a lot of pics in my post history, you can probably see the spare in any shots from the rear.Which 285's are you running? Got a pic of it in the spare location by chance? I am so down for this but everyone is telling me it won't fit.
Do you have a 285/70/18 in your spare tire location?I have 285 70 18 which are 34.78" tires with no rub. I have Westcott lift and 2024 Taco wheels though which are 45mm offset
Looks awesome. Do you keep a full size spare in the stock location?285/70/18's fit no lift, off roading, full flex, sway bar disconnected. Falken Wildpeak AT4s.
Here is full flex front passenger off the ground. drivers side buried in the wheel well.

At this time I do not. The stock is in place. The 285 will not fit.Looks awesome. Do you keep a full size spare in the stock location?
I noticed no decrease in power and the ride is better on comfort than the upgraded 20's it came with. Thank you!How do you find that tire acceleration and comfort wise? If that's the C rated tire, it's pretty dang heavy. I am considering it as well, reason why I ask. Truck looks great!
Did you try it? I kept my 285/70/17 spare in the stock location for about a year. Protrudes downward much more than the factory size tire, but fits easily. At this time I do not. The stock is in place. The 285 will not fit.
The method 318 an 18" wheel with 40 offset.Which wheel are you using?
Good to hear. I'll give it a go~Did you try it? I kept my 285/70/17 spare in the stock location for about a year. Protrudes downward much more than the factory size tire, but fits easily.
Do you have any poke at all? How are you liking the Falkens? C Load? Ive been considering those, but worried they are too heavy.285/70/18's fit no lift, off roading, full flex, sway bar disconnected. Falken Wildpeak AT4s.

It sits almost flush, maybe a 1/2" of poke from the fender flares. They are C load They don't seem to heavy in the feel of the ride. The Falkens have been great in heavy snow and rain. I used to only run Toyo MT for they are absolutely bullet proof, but the Falkens are quiet and aggressive for an all terrian.Do you have any poke at all? How are you liking the Falkens? C Load? This is what I did. Close enough in size to work as spare and get me to a shop. I could have done the 285 but I wanted it to hang down less. I don’t think the transfer case or trans will complain for a day if I have to use it.Couldnt you just put a 275/70/18 in the spare and run 285/70/18s on your wheels. What would happen if you had to use it for recovery? It is what... half inch difference?
Yes a 285/70R18 fits in the stock spare location, although it hangs lower.Do you have a 285/70/18 in your spare tire location?
