I will be holding out for whatever Dobinson comes up with and wait for a couple of years for my lift.

I'm thinking Dobinson might be good too and have been thinking of doing kings like I had on my 3rd gen taco with the Total Chaos Unibal UCAs but I ordered the westcott spacer so I can go ahead and buy the larger wheel/tire combo I want. Its gonna be a while before a really good kit comes out for the LC and I want to do the full setup with UCAs and maybe LCAs depending on what gets released. Its what Ive done with pretty much every vehicle I've purchased to offroad in. Ease into it and get a feel for what you want/need then spend the bigger bucks once and be done. Too many people rush out and buy the first big kit that releases when the better stuff usually takes time.

Exactly my plan - start with 34s and a leveling kit for the first year or two - let people pave the way and let products come out - then 17” rims, 35s, and a 2 or 3” lift.

beautiful area!! Theee are several fun trails out there.. if you’re still there and haven’t checked out Yankee boy basin.
Opal pass was pretty cool too. Steep ass cliffs.

Has any body taken off the chin spoiler yet? LC lol better with or without?
I had no problems at hidden falls in tx with them on as well, but wondering if LC looks more aggressive without

Just saw this video. Not sure if somebody already posted it. But if a stock LC can do this on stock tires then 99.9% of owners have to never worry about the LC not being capable enough off road.

Of course there are methods to increase ground clearance, but it typically affects vehicle stability and handling, among other things, and possibly even the warranty. Depends on what types of roads/trails the owner will be frequenting. They increased the ground clearance on the GX550 Overtrail a bit, so that is also a possibility, and front/rear swaybar disconnect. Sadly, still no front locker.

I talked to a lexus dealer in Houston, she told me if I put my deposit down now it’ll be well after Xmas. I haven’t seen any less than 100k, that’s a lot for something I’m going to go scratch to hell. She said if someone declines their order they auction them off starting at 10k over sticker….

Wow, I don't see the price gouging with Lexus dealers hereabouts, and the two nearby Toyota dealers do not. However, definitely at MSRP. Worse yet, possibly you may suffer from the wrath of the gulf states distributer in regard to Toyota, and possibly Lexus.

I remember seeing this when it was first shared last year, and I have to say it’s extremely impressive. That said, this isn’t something you’d want to take on alone. I’m certain they knew it could be risky, which is why having experienced drivers with support vehicles is absolutely essential if you plan to attempt it.
