Looking for some feedback please. Had side body moldings installed by the dealership on our 2025 , 1958 model. Worked directly with their aftermarket manager. Good guy, knowledgeable, explained the process stating that moldings would virtually become solid to the doors.
First attempt: all went as planned, little over two hour wait as expected. Unfortunately slight gaps at ends and along top were apparent. Manger agreed, not satisfactory. Would order new and reinstall.
Second round: after two hour wait was informed that the decision was made to send to the local body shop to assure proper installation. I agreed.
Got it back the next day. Long story short, did not look any better.
Now, working to resolve, but no solution offered yet. Has anyone else had similar issues? If so did you find a solution?
Thanks!

DIY. There’s threads on here with tips including laser level and flexible tape measure. Not hard. You just need to be thorough.

Thank you but the DIY ship has sailed. As I mentioned, dealer install is a done deal. The results though are not. Viewing several photos on a this thread show same issue I am having: ends of moldings not completely flush, small gaps on top. If that is the norm, wondering about longevity , water infiltration, etc. Thanks again for responding.

How would a laser level work. 🤔 Our LC’s are not level…

Lock laser level, then tilt it so it shows a straight line with front and rear door placement.
