My windshield is sadly cracked and I need a new one but as most of you already know the OEM windshield is going to take a while to get. I need to drive my car a long distance in about a month and I highly doubt I will be able to get the OEM glass by then. Should I get non OEM glass? I am getting it fixed at the dealer and they use a glass contractor who told me that non OEM is the same as OEM but I don’t know if I trust it. Has anyone gotten aftermarket glass, how did it look? Also does getting a non OEM part cause an issue with the warranty on the car? Any thoughts are appreciated.

You might want to make sure all of the Toyota Safety Sense features, wiper sensors, and HUD (if you have the Premium package) all work with the aftermarket glass.

Welcome to the asylum Jewel.

Posted elsewhere on this forum, someone reported that ~250 LC windshields recently arrived in the USA.

I would stick with Toyota glass.
