Has anyone installed them yet? I wonder what the quality is like and how it compares to other (more expensive) options.

Made of aluminum alloy, I haven't used other brands, but I think it's pretty good.

With the upper and lower layers, I can definitely fit more stuff in, which is important for camping.
When you fill up the cargo box, the side shelves may only be able to hold soft items such as towels, tissues, etc.

Yes, there are some cushioning pads in the package, which are glued to the joints, and there is no rattle.
