Thank you ahead of time for reading this and hopefully giving me guidance.

I am struggling getting the LC set up. I've looked for YouTube's. I found 1 that helped me go through some settings. The YouTubes seem to be on the 1958 version. I have the hybrid version. ****If there are YouTube's that covers the issues I'm having below please share.

1. I've attached a photo of trying to get my phone attached. I have an iPhone. I have Apple CarPlay set up....at least I think I do. Am I supposed to be able to hook up the phone in this area too?

2. When I drive if an event is on my calendar with an address that appears within CarPlay on the map. I am not hearing any turn/turn instructions to get to that event. Do I need to start the directions on my iPhone?

3. Cruise control: I can't seem to get it to work. It tells me it's not available and to check my manual. Well that's great, but can I get a little more information as to why it doesn't work. I completely realize it's operator error. I'm coming from a 2013 Escape so the differences in technology are amazingly wonderful and overwhelming.

4. Display: Is there a way in which to get N, S, E, W to appear on the screen in front of the steering wheel? Is there a way in which I can see the total miles driven on the main screen?

5. I took the LC into the dealership. A notice appeared on my screen "A New Key has been Registered. Contact your Dealer for Details." What the heck? I gave them my key to use. Maybe my key wasn't registered?

1) This has nothing to do with your phone being connected. All of that would be through CarPlay.

2) You need to click the address and start the directions.

3) Too vague to answer.

4) There is on the premium trims. I am unsure of the 1958. You need to cycle through the available widgets and use the navigation one. When no navigation is active it shows the compass.

5) Standard Toyota practice. It will go away after a little while.

A lot of these topics have been covered many times. You can search the forum for more detailed info.

Thanks so much! I looked here for a "set up" forum. I couldn't find that. I'll poke around more to see what I can find.

Every 2024 or newer Land Cruiser in the U.S., no matter the trim, is a hybrid.
