My apologies.
I have used shrink wrap to seal connector/wires from the elements. Slip the shrink wrap over the connector, leave an inch or so extra, heat until the extra shrinks as much as possible then twist one rotation and fold the remainder along the plug, secure the flap with a zip tie. As waterproof as you can make it, but easily undone if you need to later.
Long ago someone posted the parts to order, I’ll link to my post below. When I tried to order one directly from Toyota, I could not get the right thing.

Do you have pictures of the GX550 Running boards on the Landcruiser? I understand the mounting points are the same but the plastic portion of the step looks cut for the gx550 body and wouldn't line up with the Landcruiser lines? Can you confirm please?
Over a decade ago, on another forum (advriderdotcom), one of the inmates was looking for specific plugs on his BMW GS. Another inmate who’s ‘google foo’ skills were spectacular, found a website where you could order anything you wanted like that.
Did the boards fit without any modification on the 2024 FE?

Nope. So I just ended up selling my running boards without the lights and zip tied the lights up underneath out of the way. I tried to buy several things that people said would work, but nothing ever fit. So I’m sure I was just getting it wrong. Toyota wasn’t any help to me, either.
