Rear Seats Be Gone !!

I have a 2026 trimmed...no heated or vented 2nd row however. Started with the 2027...good purchase. Reference the WIRING HARNESS under the 40% seat and 60% seat. WARNINGS/AUDIBLES would alarm if disconnected...correct? I've been asking the Seat Delete Custom Plate manufacturing people, but no one has responded.?? Specifically, the harness bundle under the 40 and 60 portion of the 2nd row seats must be disconnected when the seat is removed. Installing the Seat Delete Plate system would have to do this, but it leaves an open circuit. How do they mitigate the SRS/air bag/audible warnings produced? I've been reading about a small emulator bypass dongle that plug into the harness, providing a 2.2 ohm load, so the system thinks the 2nd row seat(s) are there. Is this what is being done? Any advice/comment would be appreciated.

I successfully removed the 60 seat and disconnected both wire harnesses. Been driving for over a week with it gone and no audible or visual alerts whatsoever. The rear seat sensor for the 40 seat still works normally. I didn't try the heater or ventilation for the 40 seat but would imagine it works normally since those wiring harnesses are still in place.

Awesome! What is the best way to remove the plastic trim to access the seat's bolts? I need to remove the 40% seat for my fridge and dont want to tear up the plastic since i'll put the seat back in after trip.

I used a large flat head screwdriver to prop up the bottom of the trim just enough to get my fingers under it and I just gave it a firm tug. Both the front and back trims came off easily. From there it was just two bolts in the front and two in the back, and the two wiring harnesses that easily unplugged. Took maybe 5 minutes to remove the seat. It was much easier than I thought.
