Fair point. Did he have to raise the rear end to get it level with the 2nd row seats folded?Nice design. However, I'm not interested in raising the platform at all and reducing the headspace in the already limited cargo area.

I copied your idea for mine...... thanks!I cut a “notch” out on the rear of my DIY leveling platform to allow me to still access the small rear storage and keep any weight off that particularly flimsy (and weight limit warned) little cargo panel. View attachment 9196
How about a shorter version for those of us that don't want to remove the rear seats?Link? Website? Thanks

I didn't even know you could get the heated and ventilated rear seats. Anyway, I doubt it would be much of an issue. When I had my 200 series, I would get an error message about the middle row being out because it had airbag sensors in the seats so you had to fool it with a resistor jerry-rigged onto the plug to make the system think it was still plugged in. HVAC probably doesn't care.I love this and plan to remove both the 60 and 40 split seats or just the 60 split side for tool storage. Can anyone confirm if this can be done with the premium trim that has the ventilated and heated rear seats? I understand it has a couple extra wiring harnesses to disconnect but was worried it would freak out the HVAC controls with that equipment missing and I'll be bombarded with screen or audible alerts.
I have a 2027 premium trim and they all seem to come standard with the heated and ventilated rear seats. I did the same months ago.
This might be good.Just spoke with goose gear today and they informed me that they are in the process of making a flat platform Base plate for the LC when the second row seat is removed. They said it would be out in about 2 to 3 months.

And still has the 3rd row seat cup holders...Did you see this commercial version of the LC 250 in the UK with rear seats removed?
Interior Modifications:
- No Rear Seats: The entire rear bench and 3rd-row seating (if applicable) are removed to create a completely flat, edge-to-edge hard-wearing cargo floor.
- Cargo Bulkhead: A full-height metal partition bulkhead with a mesh upper screen is installed directly behind the two front seats to protect occupants from loose gear.
- Opaque Rear Windows: Rather than deleting the rear door glass, Toyota fits steel panel inserts inside the rear door windows. This obscures the load area from view for security while preserving the vehicle's standard exterior lines

Keep in mind I wrote that years ago. I ended up going with trek box. To make the entire back completely flatThis might be good.
When i talked to them, nothing.
However once the soccer mom kiddy rear seat assy is all gone, its rela easy to do custom risers and a simple deck to level things out. Easy to add storage hatches. The Goose gear edns to be very expensive for what you get.
More a matter of convenience vs actual goods value.
Now the extended range gas tank, wow , another story entirely.
More on that soon.
Hmm, my 2024 Premium didn't and now I'm bummed. Thanks for ruining my day.I have a 2027 premium trim and they all seem to come standard with the heated and ventilated rear seats. Great to hear it probably won't be an issue.
I have a 2026 trimmed...no heated or vented 2nd row however. Started with the 2027...good purchase. Reference the WIRING HARNESS under the 40% seat and 60% seat. WARNINGS/AUDIBLES would alarm if disconnected...correct? I've been asking the Seat Delete Custom Plate manufacturing people, but no one has responded.?? Specifically, the harness bundle under the 40 and 60 portion of the 2nd row seats must be disconnected when the seat is removed. Installing the Seat Delete Plate system would have to do this, but it leaves an open circuit. How do they mitigate the SRS/air bag/audible warnings produced? I've been reading about a small emulator bypass dongle that plug into the harness, providing a 2.2 ohm load, so the system thinks the 2nd row seat(s) are there. Is this what is being done? Any advice/comment would be appreciated.I love this and plan to remove both the 60 and 40 split seats or just the 60 split side for tool storage.
