has anyone looked into the potential for adding this for the rear seat passengers? I would think under the carpet there are probably wires that could control heated and cooled rear seats.

if anything, this is just an "I am jealous" post, because i have a $70k vehicle that could have had these options if Toyota allowed it in the US.

I'll be honest, on the drive to work the other day. I was thinking if you had the time and money you could potentially make your LC250 more of how we may want them just due to the fact you can add or swap a harness and parts. Now the tricky bit will come from the lack of OEM ecu control changes. People have been doing upgrades like this for years in VW community because they are able to get the programming codes to make it work within the CANBUS network. Without that I fear it maybe worthless, but here's hoping.

Following. Hoping someone tries this someday.

Can someone lookup the EWD(Electrical Wiring Diagram) to see if there is provision for connectors in the N.American models (to connect the heated and cooled seats if one can source those seats and also if we can replace and connect the Rear Climate control pannel with the one that has the heated and cooled rear seats controls.

The GX550 Premium+ and Overtrail+ trims have heated second row seats, a swap should be possible.
