Rear Fridge Slide?

Has anyone tested the durability of the factory rear platform in the LC for installing things like a fridge slide? I’d love to install a slide for my fridge without investing or building a full rear platform replacement. I’m just not sure if you can screw in a fridge slide and have it secure without damaging the factory platform. Just mounting directly on top of the platform would be ideal…for now.

I fab'd a fridge slide. I do not recommend bolting it to the deck platform. The platform is held to the substructure by plastic fasteners and the two 10 mm bolts securing the cargo anchor points, the platform it's self isn't constructed of a very sturdy material (IMO).

I chose to fabricate some nylon strap anchor points that bolt to the steel floor using the OEM mounting points/bolts that secure the hybrid battery to the floor. I cut some very tiny slots in the plastic trays and threaded the strap so that it's accessible when the trays, covers are in place. I used some quick cam lashing straps semi permanently attached to the slide that securely attach to the nylon anchor straps etc........ Takes me less than 5 mins to install or remove the fridge slide and bed platform.

That’s similar to what I’d like to do. You don’t have any pictures of the mount points do you?
