RCI Aluminum Skids

Just to inform the community...if you order aluminum skids from RCI or any vendor that sells RCI be prepared for an extended wait. I ordered aluminum RCI skids back in May and still dont have an ETA on them. I purchased from Rogue Offroad who told me that RCI relayed to them... "supplier issues". Pretty frustrated with RCI and ended up having to do a credit card challenge on the charge from Rogue Offroad. Just be aware you will have to be really patient!

Sorry to hear that. I ordered a set of steel ones in June and had them the following week. Though I'm sure the aluminum are more desirable.

I went with Victory 4x4 aluminum skids. Got them quickly and very happy with the quality and install process.

Slee is another aluminum option to look at, they've talked about how they really try to maximize clearance. Link below. Victory has the advantage of connecting to the recovery points instead of the radiator cross member, hopefully slightly reducing the chance of damaging your radiator.

I ordered trans, transfer case, gas tank, and diff skids from RCI in June. They shipped the aluminum trans and steel diff skids immediately, but I’m still patiently waiting on the transfer case and gas tank.

I had previously ordered and installed the victory front skid, which of note is that it doesnt match up perfect with the RCI trans skid, but does work.

Called today for an update....they switched manufacturing to Aluminum...We will hopefully see our products soon! I originally ordered engine, transmission and transfer case skids.
