Yeah, took a while to get my rack. I like the rack. After installation, I separately ordered grab handles and Drop in Hardware Kits (bolts). There is a disclaimer in the site that states shipment of accessories could take more than 4 weeks. I understand a delay for the grab handles which need to be fabricated but don’t understand why the bolts haven’t been shipped. I followed up by email and voicemail asking whether I should buy the bolts locally. No response.
Yea I never received a bunch of nuts and had to go purchase separate. Funny enough the owner said he was gonna send them. I have a second awning quick mount on order but I think I might cancel. Try hitting them up on instagram, they spend a lot of time on there lol

Gen Z owner? Likely a Millennial.

Installed my prospeed rack last week and headed to Big Bend to test out the LC. Rack is great - easy install, looks fabulous, seems very solid. Zero wind noise up to 80mph.

looks great. Does the rack completely protect the shark fin on the back? I'm planning of loading a wide kayak on top, can't have it rest on the shark fin.

Hi. I think the top of the fin sits below the high point of the rails and cross bars. I'll check with a straight edge and get back to you.

I noticed on the companies website that the pic showing the back end does not have anything across the back it's just open, and to me doesn't look finished, but you have a cross bar on the end.

Did you do that yourself or did it come with that bar for the end?

The cross bars are included.

The top edge of the shark fin sits below the top edge of the side rails. The cross bars sit a couple of mms below the top edge of the rails. See the pics. Your kayak mounts (attached on top of the cross bars) should give you enough clearance.
