Overland and mountain top off-grid camping

Gang,
Recently, my family of 4 (wife, sons, and me) did overland and off-grid camping on few mountain tops that overlooking to Pacific Ocean from above the clouds in Big Sur CA
Attached are very few selected photos.
There are couple good photos that I debated myself to submit to Photo of The Month (the 1st photo: from Mountain to Sea or the one I submitted ?!)
Please CHECK OUT and VOTE if you like the photo😜 😜 🏆 LCOTM - July 2026 - Land Cruiser of the Month starts now! Thanks
Hope that these photos can inspire the gang members going out more in the wild where your LC will be happy

Happy 250th America Birthday to all !
This is incredible

Wow what an incredible looking trip. Your kids will always remember the time - so awesome.
As an ocean guy this is the ultimate - to take trails adjacent to the Pacific Ocean and camp overlooking it! Epic!! I think photo #1 is my favorite. But all of them are amazing.

Honestly, yes like you said, photo #1 and the other photo (which submitted for LCOTM) are also my 2 favorites. I kept going back and forth between 2 of them…
Ended up, 1 (called Mountain To Sea) is on #1 in order here the other is there ;)
Vote only you like 😜
Thanks for all kind words, bro !

Love the photos of your trip! I was wondering if anyone sitting in the backseat complained about motion sickness? This is one of my concerns since I know I’ll be occasionally transporting family back there, but there’s no way for me to really test it before buying it.

Thanks for nice words.
My family (2 sons) were fine in back seat after few long trips and off-road. So far no complaints ;) more leg room for them (5’7” and 6’0” boys)
I heard a least 1 time in our forum, someone mentioned about motion sickness. I think people to people will have different experiences…
Let other members share their own real-life LC motion sickness if occurred
