Onboard altimeter...

Hey, Everyone!

I've searched and searched through the many buttons, toggles and switches on the dash...can anyone tell me definitively whether or not there is an onboard altimeter on the LC250 1958? Sorry if this is a lame question!

If the answer is negatory, can anyone suggest a workaround? Is there a popular overloading app or aftermarket piece of equipment out there? Thanks in advance.

I don’t believe that the vehicle has a built in altimeter - this would require a barometer to be built into the vehicle. There are a few apps which, if you have a compatible cellphone with a barometer built in (every flagship iPhone since 2014 has one), offer accurate altimeter, such as Pro Altimeter or Altimeter+. If you don’t need an accurate reading, many apps such as Gaia GPS which I get altitude via geocoords will work.
