Off-road School/Classes in Southern California (or Northern California)

Can anyone recommend a “School” that provides beginner Off-road courses (technique, recovery, Zombie Apocalypse, etc.) in Southern (or Northern) California?

There is Overland Exp in Redmond OR June 28th-30th that has training. There was one in AZ as well May 17th-19th.
Badlands 4x4 training has classes as well it looks like. Your lucky. I was looking for stuff like that up in WA the other day. Looks like there are lots of options down in CA. I'm kinda jealous.

Im planning to take my new Lc to the badlands training in the fall, located in San Diego so a good option for me to learn
