I noticed that the OEM part number for the crossbars is now PT 970 60245 - this apparently replaces the PT 970 60240…
I ordered new OEM crossbars a couple months ago and just got around to installing them… and noticed that the design is not what is described in the forums - the underside of each bar is completely smooth with no rubber piece forward-facing, and there is now a small indent on the side facing forward… Can anyone confirm if Toyota did indeed update their crossbars?
