I prefer to purchase domestic parts for a range of reasons which may not be important to others. Rather than spell them out here I will just say: sellers do not deliberately obscure facts about their products when they are confident that buyers will accept those facts. In other words print “Made in China” on your product if you stand behind it. Otherwise hide it away with meaningless words like “manufactured with PFISTER inginuity”

I agree - it’s a bit misleading, especially for the premium cost NYTOP demands.

That looks really good. Is this the matte finish - that’s what I’m interested in. How well secured does it seem? My OEM fender flares take a ton of abuse and I’m hesitant to drop a grand+ on fender flares if they’re going to rip off on the first push through branches. Got any more pics? Sorry for the question barrage, I just haven’t seen much real world application of these and I’m interested.

This looks fantastic. I want fender flares to help my stupid poke blend in with the vehicle better, and a lot of the aftermarket flares available do not blend with the OEM styling at all. Thanks for the photos and feedback, this will get added to the end of my upgrade queue.

Correct on tire size (see photo they provided). I think this is the 305 NV wheel with +18 offset, but OP can confirm.

I really do agree with you about manufacturing and marking country of origin and/or properly stating it. I get it when places have designed/etc in USA or assembled from parts from china or other than USA. Etc etc.

I want to say there is able that says there are requirements for this but can’t be sure.

I have a feeling that you and I have a preference for USA made parts for probably many of the same reasons. I will pay more for a made in USA part vs otherwise identical parts made in China…Edelbrock intake manifolds, and many other car parts come to mind. I’ll always support the USA parts vs a knockoffs.

NYTOP is at least a little different in that they are not knocking off parts but they do have them manufactured in China. It look old like nice stuff but I find it difficult to get behind those products personally. If they are quality and the manufacturing is quality then it is easier for my OCD to deal with. But in the end I will support a company like Westcott for rock sliders because they are a company designed and manufactured in the USA. The quality and welding is absolutely amazing. I have just scene, bought, replaced and been disappointed and discouraged over Chineseium auto parts over the years that it’s difficult to trust any manufacturers anymore doing business in China.
Moog is big example of what used to be good parts that are just absolutely crap now due to Chinese manufacturing. Having a classic car has been horrible when it comes to getting a quality part anymore. On a new car and especially a Toyota I buying absolutely nothing but OEM parts….if the OEM is getting them from China then so be it they are vetted supplier. Also Toyota has some lower line parts but you can at least choose from those vs the higher line OEM parts.

I sure do like the fender flare they make though!! I could bite the bullet on those but not right now.

Yes, not sure about the offset. These were dealer installed and I never asked.
I didn’t know what an offset is until I got my first Toyota
I looked up the type of wheels I have and it is +24 . These are NV 305 like RideWithYano said.

Are you referring to the lights integrated into OEM running boards?

Where there is a will there is a way. If you’re capable of disassembling the OEM gear and then modifying the new skids to fit the lights, sure!
