Thats a really bad idea driving w/o grease caps for front wheel bearing. Little bit of debris will wipe out an outside wheel bearing in short order. You have a couple of options -…I’m currently driving without the grease caps, which I don’t think is a good idea, as dust and water could get into the hubs and potentially shorten the life of the front wheel bearings.
Does anyone know if there is a thinner grease/dust cap that fits the LC 250 and still provides enough clearance for these center caps? I’d prefer to keep the front hubs properly sealed.
- search forum & some people have used a Dremel tool or a 1 1/2” hole saw to take out part of the back of the new center cap.
- put on wheel spacers - SpiderTrax 1”
