I had been reading the forum since buying the vehicle and went through the process of joining the forum when having something to post.

The posts were made to report a resolution of a MPG problem that could be helpful to others.

Other quality brand fuel injector cleaners may be similar, but I did not test those and have nothing to report on their effectiveness. I chose Liquid-Moly because of many positive reports from another vehicle forum and how it then helped solve a rough running engine in my last vehicle.

Bennettlo, Ultane, and TakaraLC, I thank you for founding the discussion board which has helped me better know the vehicle, upgrade the stereo, and turn of the ANC if that ongoing project has those problems. With moderation, doubts about a post can be expressed without commenting about a person you do not know. It could be "I think this looks like an advertisement and recommend proceed with caution." Comments on the seen content, and not the unseen person, are more likely to be accurate.

The auto-formatting made the pictures larger which make it look similar to an advertisement. Unimpressive is a large picture of shiny can.

If there are any problems with using the product with the LC I would be grateful to hear. All that I found online reports good effects.

I don't think you'll have much problems with any PEA-based fuel cleaner. Lots of good results as you've already pointed out. I personally haven't seen a downside to its use. Which in my case is about every oil change (10k oci).

Currently on a road trip and this is the best mpg I have ever got. Idk what I did but 29 is insane.

Three weeks ago I added a 2" Dobinsons lift and went from stock tires to Toyo AT III in 285/75/18's. Quite a bump from where I was.
I drove a long way for a very reputable off-roading group for the install. When I was leaving they told me that that my fuel economy would take a hit but that they had seen it improve in the new LC's after a few weeks. I was puzzled by that comment but did not have the time to ask questions.
For the drive home (200 miles of highway) my MPG's dropped from roughly 21-22 to 17.5. I drive same routes for most part and always take note of mileage when I turn vehicle off. Last week, same route, turn off, and see 21.5mph. This is mostly interstate 65mph but also some 25,35,45 mph. So I was surprised. Perhaps something to do with computer involvement of fuel efficiency in these modern vehicles?? I don't know - I am guessing.
I hope this continues and if it does then very happy with mpg's considering the size of the tires. Shoot, I will take 19mpg and be happy. This is a heavy all time 4wd with 35" tires

As you know, you and I have similar setups (until I get the MT-64 setup on), and I’m avg right at 20 mpg with regular 70-75 mph driving and some city thrown in.

Does anyone here actually even drive their LCs?!

Mine's 13 months in, currently at ~27.5k miles on the ODO

I drove from LA to CO @ 24k miles on the ODO, cruising 80-85MPH I was getting surprisingly decent mileage.. ~19, even 20 at times.. thought it was strange because whenever I'd drive to Mammoth at 80-85mph (5-10k on the ODO) I'd average 15-15.5 MPG

I figured it was quality, non-CA fuel, no ethanol BS. Just got back from SF and was averaging 18.5-19 which is slightly better than usual when going 75-85 MPH. As strange as it sounds, I do feel like I've gotten a slightly improvement at 20-25k on the ODO..
