I've washed mine (by hand) quite a few times now and have noticed the plastics (black plastic trim) seems like it's coated or sealed, and in a good way! It almost seems like it's been ceramic coated etc., but I did not pay for any extra packages etc at the dealership nor have I (obviously) coated it myself. Just w/ a basic hand wash any dirt comes right off and it retains a "wet", almost "oiled" look to it. Has anyone else noticed this?
