Looking for people with more experience to pre mortem an electrical modification.

Just to give the 12v enough juice to power on the computers, then the traction battery does the work to start the engine. So not the high-amp “jump start” mode on the NOCO, just plugged in long enough to light up the dash.

Search posts by EOD_Guy for more/better info on this topic - that’s where I learned everything I know on this topic.
As an alternative to "cutting plastic" You could run a 12v pig tail into the rear most storage cubby and if the cargo area is loaded up, you can just leave it hanging out. Once the cargo area is no longer occupied, the pig tail lies in the cubby.

@EOD That’s a great point. As well, there is a mini storage cubby on the left floor of the cargo area, immediately against the access door for the battery. Bet many don’t know it’s there, as it’s covered up under your cargo mat. When replacing a battery you lift up the cover to it & remove this ‘cargo box’ which is kinda triangular in shape. Would be easy to manipulate the charger harness to live in that cargo area until you need it.
