The car has the navigation system in japan including the tv channel, could someone please advise how to change to malaysia map? I also saw people mention about apple carplay, if it is connected to the phone, can we still using the phone for other task? Thank you

I assume the map change would be a dealer function.
Yes, you can use your phone for just about anything that it would do without "Car Play". The only issue I have found, that when the Carplay maps are on the infotainment screen, I cannot use the "facetime" feature on the phone. The "face time" stops and the call continues but voice only.
It's my belief, it's an Apple thing.
