HI Everyone, my first post here! New owner of a 2026 LC250. Loving it!!


Right now going through the process of picking up a skid plate protection. I like the proposed by Slee, but as everyone has pointed out, they do the version that attaches to the radiador.

Has anyone looked into this other part, also sold by slee which is called:

SLEE- Heavy Duty Radiator Crossmember Reinforcement – High Strength STEEL – Land Cruiser LC250 / 4th Gen Tacoma / 6th Gen 4Runner​

It is a cross bar reinforcement , that attaches into the frame (where the retrieval hooks are bolted) and then the skid would attach to this bar. It works for their skid as well as the toyota OEM one. Thats that makes the slee solution as good as one that attaches to the frame, or would you same is an intermediary one? I like the proposed solution. What is your thought on this?

I'm bringing this up since it didn't see this discussed anywhere here on the forum.

I went with the slee radiator supirt bracket and OEM Toyota 1st edition skid plates.
Does anyone know what this item is for? Is it Tacoma /4 runner related?

I didn’t use that when installing the same bracket and plates; did not seem necessary with the Slee bracket

I think that the SLEE support bracket replaced it.
