Hybrid Engine

I live in Portland, OR and drive over the Cascade Mountains to Bend frequently. I have had no issues whatsoever with the hybrid. Plenty of power for passing, and ample power to go at whatever speed, barring state troopers of course.
Similar to thesahl, I live in the Seattle area and drive up into the Washington Cascades typically 2-3x a month over the past year. I've had zero issues on long climbs. I think the turbo is typically used more than the hybrid in those situations, but I've never had power concerns.

I drive from the Bay Area to Reno all the time. I have made the drive to Mammoth Lakes a couple of times from Reno, no problem. As I have said in the past, my favorite highway speed is 80 mph. My 58 loves that speed, up hill, down hill, she doesn’t care… Oh yea, and I average around 22.5 highway and city combined.
