Husky liner vent visor!

Looks like the OEM ones are discontinued sadly. Those who installed Husky, is it just 3m stick on top of the door frame or at least in-channel? My fear is seeing it fly off on the highway .

It’s just 3M tape, it held up just fine. I had it for about a month, it went through couple car washes and had no issue.

Crazy they discounted the OEM ones, literally ordered a month ago and now they stoped lol. You can get those on eBay for absurd amounts now.

The OEM version is very nice, much more expensive as you have to get it from Japan, go figure. It's also not as fast as an install as there are 2 metal clips per window which need to be installed which I guess add support.
Look is very nice once installed, but I still can't understand why Toyota USA can't get these. On my dealers lot last week they had 2 LC250's, 1 had these installed by Gulf States Toyota, as options. I again asked the local parts dept at the same dealership how much and if they could get them, answer was no, not in stock, no ideas as to when they would get them. So hats off to Toyota on this one as the parts from Japan are 2x to 3x more than they would cost here (from what I been told).

@Paul2660. are the two clips the only mechanism that keeps them secure or are they fitted with double sided tape too? I really like the look but I don't want to put double sided tape in case I want to take them off or something.

If you download the installation instructions for the OEM vent visors, it shows double-sided tape plus clips.

It’s 3M tape and clips, it stays on really well

Another consideration that I've used are Wellvisors. They're deeper and allow you to let the window down more.

Finally cancelled my order yesterday on the 1st and had to get on chat with them to confirm my refund. Kind of annoyed about the process. Hopefully other ppl will have a better experience than I did.

My wife ordered some JW Speaker LED replacement front turn signal assemblies for my Jeep a few years back as a gift. It was from a reputable vendor that was an authorized dealer for the product. They showed as “in stock” at time of order, credit card was charged. A number of emails back and forth determined they were actually on back order- no refund offered.

They showed up 14 months later after a shipping email. Luckily they were worth the wait.
