How often do you see another LC 250 Land Cruiser ?

In Belgium, besides mine, I’ve only seen the LC250 three times, even though I’m on the highway for about an hour almost every day. The previous-generation LC Prado is far more common.

Approximately once per week. 90% white and 10% meteor shower.

Here in Boise there are 3 of us within a 2-block radius in my neighborhood, along with a wide array of every other generation LC. I see 250s on the road very often, probably at least one for every 10-15 minutes of driving.

I'm led to believe our 2 local dealerships are among the highest volume 4Runner dealerships and I would expect 250 volume is directly proportional.

I was trying to work with a dealer near Boise for 2025 Trail Hunter in Everest Green. They were 5K over MSRP and wouldn’t come off it at all. Guy told me they will just wait and it will
Sell for what they want…..he was probably right unfortunately.

Well in this trip just spotted a premium in Carson City and it was white. First time seeing a white one other than our 1958.

See them all over the front range. Many in my neighborhood, and two at my very small office. Lots of 550's too.

I rarely see another one here in FL for some strange reason. I know they're out there. Everywhere I go I get someone giving me the thumbs up or asking me a question about my LC.

Total 43,946 LC250 in CY2025 according to Toyota NA: Toyota Motor North America Reports 2025 U.S. Sales Results - Toyota USA Newsroom
All-time record for annual LC sales in USA.

LC
2025 2024
43,946 29,113

GX
2025 2024
37,180 30,914

that means more LC's were sold then GX. I guess why I see GX more than LC could be because where I live (could be neighborhood or may be terrain)
Even in this forum most people I see posting are from California and PNW. So LC might be more popular there

You’re in Houston, I’m in Austin. I see a lot more GX’s in west Austin than I do LC250s, although in my immediate neighborhood I see more LCs.

I see a ton in Vegas. Every time I’m out I see multiple. They’re popping up everywhere. I love it!
We just frequent different parts of the city because I see very few.
I probably see more GX550s, but still not a ton of those either.
Venturing to guess why so many people see more GX550s is probably a few reasons:

1) More trims available to fit more people's different needs/wants. Why spend $60k on a 1958 when you just want to drive around the city and get a more luxury 550 for a similar price?

2) Lexus might be producing more, so more people can buy a 550. With the many more trims, they probably have to be making more of them. I don't follow Lexus lines that much, but we all know that Toyota has been refreshing pretty much everything lately and that's not a small task.

3) Mall crawlers want the luxurious 550 and Lexus name. How many of the 550s that people see are Overtrail?

Disclaimer: Everything in this post was completely pulled out of my ass and is just theory with no data or research to back it up.... So it's all probably wrong.

There are some parts of the country where Lexus dealers are nonexistent or hundreds of miles apart. I'll predict the GX550 sales will overtake LC250 starting in 2026, as more customers will choose the 4Runner. For about the first half of 2025, there was a better supply of LC250s than 4Runners, which has been reversed.

Had mine since Spring '24 - almost 2 years now. What I originally thought was cool - being the only LC in the area - has been a mixed blessing.
I see no LC's in my area (NEPA-Lehigh Valley). I am seeing a GX now and again, but no LC's. I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb everytime I drive it.

I was speaking with a cop one day last fall and he asked me how I liked my Land Rover- I said "It's actually a Land Cruiser" and he said "yeah all those 'land' vehicles are made in England and it's hard to tell the difference". I just laughed politely.
However, everytime I pass some obnoxiously expensive vehicle, I always think "They have more money than sense" and I often wonder if that's what people think when they pass me. If only there were a few more driving around so it didn't look so out-of-reach exotic.

From NOVA as well. I see multiple 550s daily. I’ll see LCLC once a week and seeing another 1958 is a rare occurrence.
I'm in NoVA at least once a week with mine.

Daily. My neighbor directly across my alley has one and another a block away does too. Mine was first though 🤣

Been in Carson City since the December 30th. I have scene 3 in Carson and each of them white. Just saw one today that was lifted.

Being from Tucson AZ I have scene as many Land Cruisers in Carson City in a couple weeks than I have at home in Tucson over a couple of months……LOL!!

Just prior to leaving Tucson I had my tires and wheels put on at Discount in Tucson and I hit the the 5,000 mile balance and rotation milestone about a week ago. Went to Discount in Carson and got it done. Guy told me he’s scene a couple of them but none with Method wheels and KO3s. BTW: No appointment and in and out in just over an hour at the Carson Discount!! Some good people there if you need tire services.

We will be headed back the Arizona around the 23rd of January. Our trip has been great and I’ll be on the lookout for more Land Cruisers as we go back home…..it’s something to do on the road. LOL!!

Rarely see any here in Western PA (SW of PGH). Then again, I'm not out and about a ton since I WFH. Only average a few hundred miles per month on my LC
