Hello all , hope you are all well.

I just got my Prado a few days ago, and unfortunately I already had my first accident. I will save you the details but while backing up, someone was speeding in the narrow passage and drove his side fender into my tow hook. The tow hook completely ripped and mangled his entire side fender above his tire and messed up his door a bit. Insurance is covering both of us and no one was hurt so its all good there.
The problem is when I look at the tow hook, its not straight anymore, here is a picture below:

As you can see, the space on the left side is much smaller than the space on the right side. Not sure how obvious it is in the picture but its clearly turned to one side now and off-center. Is this thing attached to the chasis or frame or something? Because he was going atleast 50-65km/h and my care turned atleast 10-15 degrees off its axis in the parking spot. Should I take it in to inspect if there was serious damage that cant be seen or it being off-center could be something more minor like a bracket or something?

Thanks in advance! I apologize if this should be in a different sub-forum.

The US model and the tow hook receiver are a unified piece with the entire frame. I personally would have my insurance company involved. To me, it looks like a frame straightening business would be successful in making it right, but I would definitely have it checked by a frame professional or by the Toyota body shop.

You might get away with a winch anchored to something very solid and attempt to bend it back into shape.
