Highest mileage J250

7000 miles with oil change only at 5K. Purchased late July.

Coming up on 10k. Changed oil at 1k, 3k, 6k, and a week or 2 at 10k. I'll probably go every 4-5k from here on out.

Love the vehicle, besides the fuel tank size. Seriously considering buying something else just due to the range. I feel betrayed by Toyota. How am I supposed to "cruise the land" with 300 miles :-/

Sorry for the rant.
I am coming from a 202 ram 1500 rebel that had a 26 gal tank and I got about 12 MPG. on the LC I am getting about 17 mpg purely city, hardly ever trips over 5 miles. this gives me almost the exact same range as my truck did with big fuel tank. and before that I had a 2014 jeep Cherokee that would get about 300 miles on a tank too. This is my first Toyota ever but as I understand it, the LC 200 had a 24.6 gal tank and I probably would've gotten about 11 or 12 mpg putting me under 300 miles of range. I have never had a car that got 400 or even 350 miles on a tank and am totally fine with the range. The GX would've been the worst of the bunch for me at about 250 miles of range (~12 mpg based on test drive) and just a non starter especially with premium gas. just my opinion.

I think we have a new champion according to this thread by @cvx5832LC new record is ~18,500 miles 🤯

A new challenger has appeared! Over on reddit, u/UnstoppableMileage, a medical courier who put 500k miles on a 2020 Rav 4 hybrid within 4 years just got themself a Land Cruiser.
It will be interesting to see how the engine/drive train on this new platform hold up in the long run. I wonder what his OCI is, and what fuel he uses?

I have about 6600 miles

-changed the oil and oil filter at 5k miles on my own
-Toyota rotated tires at 5k miles

Been doing either 91 or 93 octane fuel only, averaging around 21.7 mpg (mostly highway)
How does it perform with 91 Octane fuel?
