Thanks for the suggestion. I was wondering what those wheels weighed. I'm not in a hurry to swap out tires/wheels yet as I want to get some wear on the Geolanders. really like the look of the 20" wheels. The Geolanders are about 41 lbs and I think I can get some SL or XL tires with a more aggressive tread that are about the same weight. I like the Toyo AT3 265/60/20 in the XL (D load) that are actually a bit lighter than the Geos at 38 lbs and have a stiffer sidewall. Trying to find that sweet spot between ride comfort and off-road capability.

Welcome! Just picked up the same LC basically. The meteor shower / java combo is the best!

New owner (week and a half)of a 2026 fully loaded Meteor Shower with Java Interior. This was a replacement for my wife's 2019 Subaru Touring Outback. I managed to convince her that the LC was a great replacement, but I am driving it more than she... heh, heh, heh. Loving it so far and she is too. Took it on a week long trip to Fort Bragg and it did really great on the twisty roads, elevation changes, and flat valley highways, and got 21.6 mpg there and back to our home in the Sierra Nevada foothills. That was on the stock 265/60/20 tires. Hoping that will improve over time.

Looking to hit some of our many local 4wd roads to test it out in the near future. Will eventually replace the tires with something better than the Geolanders without taking too much of a hit on the MPG, but will try and get as much wear as possible out of them. Looking forward to learning and sharing with the group!

I took my 58' to Moab the first weekend of ownership on stock Geolanders, you'll be fine to test it out on some basic trails before you upgrade! That's what the spare is for. If you replace them soon you can likely get a credit from the tire shop.

Thanks. I took it up a 6mi trail with a 1600' elevation difference up toward Mt Hough near Taylorsville, CA this weekend to test all the 4WD components, and I was surprised how well it did on the stock Geolanders.
