You will see two options multi colour and then another choice for just amber, which I got.

And I assume the amber don’t have the color change ability? But still have a remote?

They don’t change colour, but the remote can turn on and off. I leave mine on and the ignition turns them on and off like running lights. But if you ever want them off just hit the remote. The remote will also make them blink, like two flashes or rapid etc. I have not played around with all the blinking, not sure what you would use for, getting attention maybe?

They have an upper and lower option but I have a bumper installed so I just went with the uppers. Only had em in for a couple days now but so far so good

Several hours I went to the garage and the lights were turned on. Not sure how this is happening given the car is turned off. Have you experienced this issue with your lights? Any suggestions?

YES! I haven’t had any issues buts it’s been an eyebrow raiser for sure. It had to be related to whatever that fuse is that we tapped into, but unfortunately I’m lazy. (And again, I’ve had zero other issues.) my only half asses thought is that it’s somehow tied into the dashcam power? I don’t know what else would just randomly turn on, but as I’m typing this I realize this is a wildly more technical truck than I’ve ever had, honestly there’s probably 50 different things. If I get a chance I’ll pull the fuse cover tomorrow and see if I can get a clue

The fuse that's identified in the instruction video is fed by a relay labeled "EFI Main No.3" which leads me to believe it's part of the fuel injection system (not sure). If you would like to ensure they don't come on unless you want them on.............. Just install a simple switch between the wire tap and the rest of the light's wiring.

If you run a pair of wires into the cabin via the factory installed grommet (located on the fire wall by the brake booster) and wire that into a "Cube" switch. Then connect one wire to the fuse tap and the other wire to the light's wire. That way even if there's residual power from the tap, the switch breaks the circuit.

CH4X4 sells cube switches with many different icon choices. If you don't want the cube switch to light up, it's a simple wire up. If you want it to light, it's a bit more challenging, but not hard at all.

Yes these are just grill lights, essentially running lights so no way would give them a switch, I think we just need to figure out some other fuse under there that’s only on when the trucks on.

My theory is......... all of the ACCY system are tied together electrically via buss bars internal to the fuse boxes/power distribution boxes (common way to buss out a said boxes) which means when several circuits/buss bar are powered by a single relay they all come live when one does etc.......... being the LC has so many systems that remain on for a bit when the key is off, it would truly be trial and error process to power directly off a single fuse via a tap.

If you add a relay to energize a ACCY buss bar and the relay is activated by a switch........ you remove all of the Toyota's delays/residual circuitry and you could power several circuits from the new buss. The other benefit..... should something short out in any of your DIY installs, the blown fuse will not affect any of the OEM circuits.

But I do understand, sometimes the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

My feeling exactly, and to be honest, they only come on for about 10 seconds maybe, certainly not enough for any concern for me… but it is puzzling. But yes, not worth it for me

Yes they come with the wiring harness. See picture, unplug the wire in red and plug these in and then plug head light plug into wire. They come with remote so you can turn on and off from inside the car. There is an install video on StickerFab site (product page) View attachment 32958

The connector install is definitely simple and efficient, but I’m a little hesitant—could it mess with the headlights or affect the warranty if something goes wrong with them?
Wondering if these plugs keep out water and dust as well as the factory ones? Thank you.

I have run them since last spring, no issues. Mine come on with the driving lights, so they are on all the time. The plug that's comes with them is just like any of the Toyota plugs under the hood, solid. I have had my LC serviced at the dealer I bought it from and no one has mentioned anything about them.

Update: I swapped my fuse tap to where EOD guy suggested, and they still turn on randomly for roughly 10sec.

I am not having this problem and mine are in that accessory section of fuse box as well but on a relay and switch. I don’t know enough about it to know if that makes the difference or not.

Well if you physically turn them on with a switch than yes, that switch won’t allow current unless you leave it on all the time… what lights did you end up using man? They look awesome

Thanks. I have just left the switch on, so they all come on with ignition. Two different sets.

They will hook straight into headlights if you want. They have a plug for that and the wiring harness and all are actually very well made.
