My LC is in the shop now getting the Wescott collars and 35’s. I have seen the below video and shared with the shop though they weren’t much interested in it. My LC does not have sway bar disconnect - so will I even have this bracket and wiring harness that needs to be moved ?

Won’t the technicians working on it right now be able to tell you the answer?

Yes, they'll still need to remove that bracket. I have the '58, so no disconnect and the shop gave me the brackets when I picked it up.

In theory yes- but I wasn’t overly impressed with their knowledge. You can’t see the harness right off so they didn’t know what I was taking about. I just wanted to be adamant about it if I for sure have the harness.

Well they called back and got the video link. Didn’t get finished by the end of the day so not sure how it went. I have an apt at 9am for roof wrap - so these guys better get on it first thing in morning.

That shop sucks that should literally be a 2 hour job max for a professional shop, hope it all works out for you!

I installed a full Dobinsons lift with UCAs, Diff drop, adjustable panhard, end links and even had to press the ball joints out of old and into new as well as disassemble and reassemble coils at home with no lift 4-5 hours without rushing including taking before and after measurements for everything.

Yes they must suck. It’s a tire discounters that has a certain tech that does lifts. He obviously didn’t know what he is is doing and I hope they don’t screw up my truck. They had it 6 hours yesterday and it’s still not done. I told them it should have been 2-3 hours and they said their “book” said 7 hours. I am a bit worried.

Well I picked it up and I actually think they did it right, and everything seems to fit and work right. The 35” Duratreks look great on it. Took it from that shop straight to the shop to have roof wrapped. Hopefully Thur or Friday I’ll have it back and complete.
