British Columbian 1958

[Revelstoke]

Great forum...thanks for putting this together! Picked up my 1958 a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoy it as it's actually quite nice to drive, looks great, relatively utilitarian (especially the 1958), and is proving to be a very competent off-road SUV. The off-road predecessors to my 1958 have been a Jeep JK 4 Door purchased in 2007 & a Nissan Armada in 2015. Live in Revelstoke, South-Western British Columbia so the 1958 will see it's share of the BC back-country.
Have dressed the 1958 up with:

• Method 17 " 305's with a 35mm offset
• Toyo Open Country AT III 35/11.5r17's
• Toyota Rock Rails
• Toyota FE Roof Rack (my Inno box fits perfectly)
• Toyota Front Skid Plate
• Hella Horn Upgrade
• Have ordered the wiring to hardwire my radar detector & Garmin Dash Cam
• Westcott Designs Collar Lift

Looking forward to crossing paths with other members as the years go on!

From an X BCer, Cranbrook area, I hope to pick my 25 FE premium up next 10 days or so. Still on train from Vancouver ! Living S Ont now. I ordered a set of Toyo Open Country AT III, 275/60R20’s. Don’t get the snow like you do, but, never hurts to be prepared! Great pics!

I'm curious at to how the Toyo's will do in the Revelstoke snow...I'm sure that they'll do well but will probably break down and spring for a real set of winter tires next year.

I also have a set of AT III on mine. They’re a bit greasy here in Calgary but then I don’t need to be out when it’s really bad.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the AT III's in the snow. A recent rip over the Duffy through Whistler, Vancouver and then back home over the Coquihalla presented no issues in the middle of the biggest snow cycle we've seen this winter!

Good to know, I’m still waiting for my LC to arrive at the dealership. Must of taken the slow boat from Japan! We haven’t had any snow here in southern Ontario to speak yet. Hope it holds off until I get my new ride! Happy New year and safe travels.
