Fitting 35s with no rubbing on compression

Interesting. I have the same size Open Country A/T III with 2" lift and no rubbing. The diameter and width of the A/T III and R/T is identical. What is the offset on the Icon wheels?
My offset is 47.5.

I believe the Icon wheels for the LC are +40mm offset.

yes, it would fit without a lift. (YouTube search "will it fit Land Cruiser 2024" and you will find a great video from the Icon guys trying different size tires on the Land Cruiser).
I needed a heavier suspension setup for towing and the extra weight I've added to my rig, so I needed the full suspension upgrade. I really like the tires but can see the drop in gas mileage with the heavier tires.

I saw those videos just cant figure out where i would have to trim exactly. I'm good with a heat gun to the liner, but I don't want to cut the bumper. There also might be a slight diff from the LC Base and the 1958 with how much the fender sticks out, I think it is an Inch more on mine. Would love to move to a C Load 35x11.5/18

I'm curious about rubbing. The pictures all seem to be tires stuffed in the wheel well, but pointing forward/neutral. I thought that rubbing (especially with wider tires) was more likely to happen at steering lock to left or right.

I guess the 7mm (this is millimeters I think) of difference in offset is enough to do it. With 47.5 TRD Pro that I have, the installers told me they are close to rub on upper control arm but Im ok. Said any more positive would have made it rub. BTW I did change UCA's at same time.

I love it, I would definitely recommend it again. I'm back down to a 33in tire right now, so the trail swing is sitting in the garage currently.

Have been debating whether to get that LR America fuel tank and use the trail swing again.... with extra fuel and the tire carrier back on, then I'd probably put the 35s back on haha
