2024 LCLC
Its been 1 year and 18K miles since I purchased my LCLC premium and yesterday my drive connect and remote connect expired. I see the subscription is $15/month for both of those services but does Toyota offer a annual subscription for a discounted rate or does Toyota run specials on the subscriptions during the holidays?

Also, what's included in the drive connect?

I still have 2 years on mine, but admittedly got turned off by the app with how buggy it was and uninstalled it. And since I'm on Carplay, the functionality it offers with maps is moot. So depending on your particular usage, you may or may not miss it.

How did you manage to score 2 year subscription? I mainly use remote connect since its crazy hot in TX.

I may be wrong, but I just started my Drive Connect subscription after the initial trial period. I have not seen or found a yearly subscription option. It appears to be month to month subscription.

I was thinking of calling toyota to see if i could get the remote connect for maybe $5/month - I’m not paying $15 a month for the remote connect and the drive connect or music when, as has been said, our phones do this for us. Its frustrating toyota is bundling the RC with other stuff but it’s because they know this would be the main feature customers want.

I’m also in a hot hot place and love remote start from my phone, in the office, so my truck is cooled when i get out to the parking lot. Remote start on the key fob is a joke (range is terrible and it doesnt always pick up the three consecutive button presses)

Yes but from 10 ft away. Its very sensitive and sucks to be honest. The app is 1000% better.
I agree. Interesting thing to note I turned all of these on with my Carista app. They all still seem to work. I have the 1958 but, I’m not sure if that makes a difference. I can even open the windows with the key now. Maybe give this a try!

Same here, just need the remote connect because everything is useless for me.
