Deciding on tires

The Nokians turn out to be pretty good in the snow and very comfortable for an e load. They are quieter and ride smoother than falken wildpeak 3 and general apt (those were both e loads that I had previous experience). Again, they are on my wife’s truck. I think an e load is overkill on the LC since I don’t off road.
Thanks for replying. I just pulled the trigger on the Nokian tires in LT275/60-20. I occasionally tow a boat so the heavier duty build made sense for me. Also, the Nokian is relatively light as E rated tires go so hopefully not too bad a mileage penalty. Discount Tire matched a smoking good price I found at simple tire.com so I feel good about the value. Thanks again.

I was originally going to go with BF Goodrich KO3's, but in the end went with BF Goodrich Trail Terrain.
Taking a hard look of what I needed from a set of tires, The Trail Terrains met my need for 90% on-road use with some off-road capability. Its designed for a quiet ride on pavement and much lighter (46-47 lbs) vs that of the KO3's at 57 lbs? This will translate to retaining the MPG's for the most part, one of the qualities of the LC that I value.

The Nokian Outpost tires were delayed in shipping so Discount offered me KO3s in the same size at the same price as the Nokians. I took the deal. Very impressed with the KO3s so far. I’ve only driven on pavement but the ride is outstanding and the noise is no worse than the OEM Geolanders I took off. Here are a few pics of the mounted KO3s in LT 275/60-20.

That’s the look and associated capability the Land Cruiser should have had right off the assembly line 👍🏼
